Knotwork started with lessons from my Grandmother, who was taught by Clifford Ashley. She decorated sailboats, created belts, lanyards and bell pulls, rugs, binnacles and compasses with elaborate creations.

This is a lanyard for quail hunting. The orange beads are used as covey counters - you can slide them up and down. The ring can attach dog electronics, whistles or whatever else is handy
Similar concept to the quail lanyard - You can use this one to hold duck calls and count ducks.
